SOUTH WARWICKSHIRE including Warwick and Coventry

If you have "lost" the odd ancestor this is a good place to look. There are Convents - Nuns and boarding pupils from all over the country and Ireland, Hospitals - Not only the nurses etc, but also the patients from miles away, Barracks Soldiers and their families from every County
CD-2 Covers the A428 from Coventry to the M1, then out to the A45 and all the villages along the way.
Interesting reading is the Convent - 63 nuns, 45 girls, 4 governesses, 9 servants - 1 Priest and 1 errand boy.
CD-4 Has the Royal Warwickshire Regiment (Infantry) covered listing soldiers and their families etc
Also Leamington Home for Incurables - has patients from all over the country (Wouldn't it be more interesting if you knew what their illness was!!).
